  Novell will release a Novell Client for Windows 10 after Windows 10 has shipped in July. This version will also support OES Altair. Liquit. The Novell Client 2 (later renamed OES Client 2) supports Windows NT and up (Vista, 7, 8, , 10). It does not support the IPX protocol. I am having issues with windows 10 both 18trying to login locally instead of with the Novell client. I have the latest client. ❿

For everything else just grab the latest client from the MicroFocus website download. This client has only ever been available from download. There are only old versions of the client no longer available from MicroFocus available here.

Unless you have a specific need for something old, grab the latest version from them. I'm not a netware expert, don't have any of those fancy novell certifications and have never administred a netware network; I've just played with it at home occasionally since or so. Is it possible the download for this program is somewhere in your files, as apparently the buggy Updates installer views that as installed.

Do a keyword search in taskbar search box. This the most stable method to upgrade to the new version which you need anyway and will bring you fully up to date with reinstalled Windows that often will solve any other problems you have.

You can use the same tool to download the ISO or create bootable media so you only need to do it once, and have the bootable media for repairs or possible Clean Install. But remember that a factory or Upgrade install are inferior installs that most enthusiasts would never run in the first place because they'd expect endless issues.
